# Governance X-Ray

> A fast assessment that surfaces every agent in your org, its owner, its blast radius, and its risk tier. The first thing you run.

Category: org

A governance x-ray is a rapid assessment that makes your hidden agent fleet visible: every agent, who owns it, what it can touch, and how badly it could go wrong.

## Why it matters
You cannot govern what you cannot see. Most orgs have no idea how many agents are actually running, let alone which ones can move money or modify production. The x-ray turns that fog into an inventory and a risk-ranked list, which is the only sane place to start.

## In practice
A short engagement: async review of systems and a handful of stakeholder calls, producing a full agent inventory, a toy-tool-teammate risk heatmap, and a prioritized list of which dark agents to fix first.

## Where it shows up in my work
This is the opening practice in the Field Manual and the fastest version of what an AI Constraint Sprint does: find the one agent or gap that is actually putting you at risk, before it finds you.
